🇮🇱 NOVAE IS HIRING IN ISRAEL | SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE / INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CHAIN ENGINEER
📍 Dimona, Israel – On-site at supplier facility 🏭 Aerospace & Defense environment 📅 Start: September 2026 🌍 English mandatory
Can you look at a production line, analyze its Work In Progress (WIP), and determine exactly where and why lead time is being lost?
NOVAE is looking for an experienced Supplier Performance / Industrial Supply Chain Engineer to support a critical supplier in Dimona, Israel.
This is not a traditional procurement or expediting position.
The key challenge is to understand the reality of the supplier’s production flow, analyze WIP and identify the root causes behind a significant production and delivery schedule deviation.
🎯 YOUR MISSION: UNDERSTAND THE GAP AND DRIVE RECOVERY
Working directly on the supplier’s shop floor, you will analyze production progress against commitments and determine where delays are being generated.
Your responsibilities will include:
🔹 Analyze and calculate Work In Progress (WIP) across the manufacturing flow
🔹 Compare actual WIP and production progress against expected levels
🔹 Analyze WIP aging, cycle times, lead times and throughput
🔹 Update and analyze Line of Balance (LOB) and identify deviations against the production plan
🔹 Identify bottlenecks, waiting times, capacity constraints and production disruptions
🔹 Verify consistency between production WIP, material/component availability and finished-product forecasts
🔹 Identify critical Part Numbers and delivery milestones at risk
🔹 Analyze the root causes of schedule deviations
🔹 Assess production capacity versus actual demand and commitments
🔹 Build, prioritize and drive supplier recovery action plans
🔹 Monitor production and shipment progress until recovery
🔹 Escalate critical issues and support operational decision-making
🔹 Lead regular coordination meetings with the supplier and customer teams
🔹 Provide clear, factual and data-driven reporting on risks, actions and recovery progress
🔎 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an engineer with strong hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, production control and Supply Chain performance.
You should be comfortable going beyond ERP data and working directly on the shop floor to understand where the WIP actually is, why it is there and what is preventing it from moving forward.
Strong experience in several of the following areas is expected:
⚙️ WIP / Work In Progress analysis📊 Line of Balance (LOB)🏭 Production Planning & Control📈 Capacity & Load Analysis⏱️ Lead Time / Cycle Time / Throughput analysis🚧 Bottleneck identification📦 MRP / Material & Component Coverage🔄 Supplier Recovery / Supplier Performance📉 Root Cause Analysis⚡ Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement🛠️ Problem-solving methodologies: 5 Why, 8D, Ishikawa, PDCA, A3💻 Advanced Excel and industrial data analysis
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and the ability to understand manufacturing routings, production orders, BOMs and shop-floor data will be particularly valuable.
✈️ Aerospace and/or Defense experience is a strong advantage.
Experience working directly inside supplier manufacturing facilities, particularly in an international or high-pressure recovery environment, will also be highly appreciated.
👤 THE MINDSET
This assignment requires someone who is:
✔️ Highly analytical✔️ Hands-on and comfortable on the shop floor✔️ Autonomous and results-oriented✔️ Able to challenge data and assumptions✔️ Comfortable working under pressure✔️ Diplomatic but firm with suppliers✔️ Capable of turning complex production data into clear operational decisions✔️ Able to communicate and coordinate effectively across multiple stakeholders
🌍 Professional English is mandatory.
Hebrew would naturally be an advantage for an on-site assignment in Israel.
🚀 THE CHALLENGE
The objective is not simply to report that production is late.
We need someone capable of determining where the delay is being generated, why the WIP is not flowing as expected, and what actions are required to restore the delivery plan.
If you have already faced this type of industrial recovery challenge, we would like to hear from you.
